We're gearin' up...

Although it's been quite a while since this blog has been updated, I can assure you that we've been working hard to kick off our 29th season in true Kavinoky style!

As you're likely aware, our upcoming season is chockfull of amazing, new plays! We're absolutely thrilled to start with Theresa Rebeck's MAURITIUS. This fast-paced, contemporary drama takes us on a rollercoaster ride though (brace yourself)...stamp collecting.

Here's the synopsis: Stamp collecting is far more risky than you think. After their mother's death, two estranged half-sisters discover a book of rare stamps that may include the crown jewel for collectors. One sister tries to collect on the windfall, while the other resists for sentimental reasons. In this gripping tale, a seemingly simple sale becomes dangerous when three seedy, high-stakes collectors enter the sisters' world, willing to do anything to claim the rare find as their own.

This hot play, fresh from its recent Broadway production, is directed by Anne Gayley and features an all-star cast including Eileen Dugan, Kate Loconti, Peter Jaskowiak, Peter Palmisano and Brian Riggs.
