Our 'Crazy Mary'

Pity in some ways we couldn't nab Sigourney Weaver for the Kav production but she didn't audition well here! Just kidding, of course. But seriously, we are very privileged to present 'Crazy Mary' here in Gurney's home town so soon after its acclaimed world premiere in New York. The play's set in Buffalo so even more reason to come and see the latest coup by the Kavinoky Theatre, opening on November 9th.

See you there,
Paul Dambmann
Kavinoky Board Chairman

I'm looking forward to seeing Nan Craig on stage in the lead role. Break a leg!

My husand and I went to see Crazy Mary last night, 11/10/07. It was out first time to your theatre. We thoroughly enjoyed the play. All the actors truly played their characters well. Lydia and Skip were our favorites, although all was well. Would have liked Mary to go home with Lydia and see how Mary and her money could change Lydia, but I guess that would make it a very long play. The ending was appropriate, though sad. We will be attending other plays in the future. Thanks Lynne and Gary Newberry

Total enjoyment - Skip's sarcastic, aloof attitude made us laugh while Lydia is such a typical "I only want what's best for you" mother. The twist at the end of the first act was totally unexpected but added a dimension to the story that helped to make it memorable. Great Show - Great Cast! We'll be back!!
